Meeting on dengue prevention convened

Apr. 24: At his office here on Wednesday, Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarter Arshad Wattoo presided over a meeting of the District Emergency Committee for Anti-dengue.
All concerned departments’ district leaders attended the meeting.
The district’s current dengue situation was briefed by Chief Executive Officer of Health Dr. Aslam Asad.
He added that the dengue vector surveillance teams had eradicated dengue larvae at 36 sites, and that there had only been one incidence of dengue reported in the district to date.
He said, “Activities for Third Party Verification, dengue Hotspot coverage, and Digital Video Recorder Resolution were carried out throughout the district.”
The person in question was instructed by the ADC Headquarter to ensure that the district’s Standard Operating Procedures for dengue elimination are fully implemented.
