During the season of 2024, the Pakistani business community made 160 million dollars by exporting 321,490 tons of kinnow to various countries.
Shoaib Ahmed Basra, Senior Vice Chairman of Fruit and Vegetables Pakistan and a former president of the Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industry, shared these opinions with the media here on Tuesday.
According to Basra, the business community had some setbacks as a result of weather variations. She also mentioned that the nation exported 158,355 tons of kinnow to other nations by seaport and 163,135 tons via land transportation.
He noted that although the Ministry of Commerce had established a goal to export 400,000 tons of kinnow in the 2024 season, weather conditions had limited that goal.
