Rawalpindi: In six raids, the ANF seizes 115 kg of narcotics.
In six operations across the nation, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) was able to seize approximately 115 kg of drugs and detain seven suspects, according to a spokesman for the ANF Headquarters here on Monday.
He reported that a total of 64.8 kg of hashish was recovered from two vehicles during two ANF operations that were carried out close to the Motorway Toll Plaza in Islamabad. The drugs that were found were hidden in the vehicles’ hidden compartments. Four accused Peshawar and Khyber citizens were detained during the raids.
1 kg of heroin, 14.4 kg of hashish, and 20.4 kg of opium were found in a car that was stopped close to the Motorway Toll Plaza Sheikhupura. Two Nowshera people who were accused of the crimes were immediately detained during the operation.
A passenger on airplane number GF-787 headed to Dubai had 107 heroin-filled capsules in his or her possession when it was discovered. At Bacha Khan International Airport, the accused Khyber resident was apprehended.
During two operations, 15 kg of hashish were found in the Zakha Khel region of Khyber.
The apprehended suspects were the subject of separate Anti-Narcotics Act proceedings while additional inquiries were ongoing.
