Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the acting prime minister, claims that in his speech to the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, he restated Pakistan’s steadfast position on the Kashmir problem.
He claimed that the Kashmiri people should have a referendum on the promised but unrealized right to self-determination in a tweet on X.
He demanded an end to the discrimination against Kashmiris and urged that their voices be heard and their demands be honored.
