Pakistan Aims to Strengthen Cultural Ties with Iran Across Various Fields: Jamal Shah

Caretaker Minister for Culture and National Heritage, Jamal Shah, expressed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening cultural relations with Iran in various domains, encompassing film,arts, handicrafts, heritage, literature and culture. He conveyed this during a meeting with Ehsan Khazaei, the Cultural Counselor of the Iranian Embassy, held in Islamabad on Wednesday.

The discussions revolved around the existing cultural ties between Pakistan and Iran, along with the recent developments in these bilateral relations, including cultural agreements. The officials also explored opportunities for collaboration in organizing various cultural events such as an Iranian films week and other cultural exchanges. Furthermore, both sides deliberated on the prospects of joint Pak-Iran film production and decided to schedule a delegation-level meeting to delve deeper into this matter.

The Iranian Cultural Counselor underscored the rich cultural and historical commonalities shared between Pakistan and Iran during the event.
