Arab foreign ministers have called for an immediate halt to hostilities in Gaza and the removal of the blockade to allow relief to reach the trapped Palestinians.
They requested an immediate ceasefire in the enclave after a UN Security Council meeting in New York, saying that there will be no peace in the area without an equitable resolution to the Palestinian problem.
