Pakistan voices concern over violence in Syrian areas

New York : Pakistan has voiced concern over violence in some Syrian areas, urging strong security framework for stability.

Speaking in the UN Security Council, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Munir Akram hoped the new leadership will guide Syria toward peace, stability and prosperity.

He emphasized that any resurgence of Al-Qaeda, D’aesh and their affiliated groups must be prevented.
