On October 21, 2023, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Khalsa Khorad Adiala Interchange site and instructed relevant authorities to expedite the construction of the Rawalpindi Ring Road Project. He called for the hiring of additional workers, increased machinery, and faster completion of project drawings by NESPAK to accelerate the earthwork. Chief Minister Mohsin was later briefed on the project by FWO officials. The Rawalpindi Ring Road Project entails a 38.3-kilometer-long six-lane highway.
