Turkiye has conveyed its keenness to pursue joint ventures in diverse economic sectors within Pakistan.
Mehmet Pacaci, the Ambassador of Turkiye to Pakistan, expressed this desire during a meeting with Tahir Javed, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Investment, held in Islamabad.
Ambassador Pacaci emphasized Turkiye’s strong interest in making substantial investments in Pakistan, with a specific focus on sectors such as mining, appliances manufacturing, paper products, the pharmaceutical industry, and the development of Special Economic Zones. He also mentioned that 46 Turkish contracting companies are eager to invest in Pakistan, with a desire to increase their involvement in infrastructure projects and an emphasis on potential collaboration in the construction sector.
SAPM Tahir Javed reiterated Pakistan’s openness to Turkish investments and stressed the potential areas for further enhancing bilateral relations in the future.
