Strong Commitment to Bolster Bilateral Relations: Pakistan and Indonesia

On October 16, 2023, Pakistan and Indonesia have restated their commitment to enhancing their bilateral relations, with a particular focus on trade and investment. This commitment was reaffirmed during a meeting between Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Chairman of the Senate in Pakistan, and Adam M. Tugio, the Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan, which took place in Islamabad today.

During their discussion, Chairman Senate emphasized the importance of encouraging Indonesian entrepreneurs to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan. Additionally, on the issue of Palestine, Chairman Senate called on the international community to apply pressure on Israel, stressing the urgency of halting its aggression against the Palestinian people. He also underscored the significance of unity and consensus among Muslim nations.

Indonesian Ambassador Adam M. Tugio praised Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and expressed Indonesia’s strong interest in further enhancing bilateral relations across various sectors.
