
Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has issued instructions to ensure the provision of the best and cost-effective facilities for pilgrims while maintaining the quality of Hajj arrangements. During a meeting related to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, he emphasized the importance of facilitating pilgrims in every possible way for the significant religious ritual of Hajj.
The prime minister was briefed on the ministry’s performance, the measures taken for Hajj, and the preparations for the Hajj policy for 2024, according to a press release from the PM Office Media Wing. The meeting was attended by Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed and other ministry officials.
In his address to the participants, the prime minister emphasized the need for strict monitoring of private Hajj companies to ensure that pilgrims using private schemes do not encounter any difficulties. He also instructed the submission of the Hajj policy for approval by the federal cabinet.
