Dubai :. UAE pacer Muhammad Jawadullah credited Mohammad Amir for his development in mastering the art of reverse swing during the second season of the International League
The 25-year-old left-arm pacer finished the season with an impressive tally of 10 wickets in eight matches, boasting a striking strike rate of 13.
Jawadullah expressed gratitude for Amir’s guidance and expertise, emphasizing the significant effort required to hone this skill.
“I have been working on reverse swing and Mohammad Amir has been a guide for me. I was fortunate to learn from his skill and expertise. It does require a lot of effort, but I am getting better with each session. In the UAE, fast bowlers sometimes struggle in the middle and death overs, so I think reverse swing is a very good option for us,” Jawadullah said.
Meanwhile, Amir, representing the Desert Vipers in the ILT20, also made his mark with 12 wickets in nine matches, further highlighting the impact of his experience and talent in the league.
