Islamabad : The Seerat-un-Nabi chair at the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) organized a one-day seminar on Tahafuz e Namoos e Risalat. The seminar was presided over by Dean, Faculty of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Prof. Dr. Mohyuddin Hashmi, and the keynote speaker was Secretary, Council of Islamic Ideology, Dr. Ikram ul Haq Yasin. The event was hosted by Prof. Dr. Ghulam Shamsur Rahman, the Head of Seerat-ul-Nabi Chair.
Dr. Ikram ul Haq emphasized in his speech on Tahafuz e Namoos e Risalat that every Muslim has a religious obligation to believe in the finality of Prophethood. Dr. Mohyuddin Hashmi and Dr. Ghulam Shamsur Rahman also expressed their unwavering commitment to Tahafuz e Namoos e Risalat ﷺ. This seminar was organized as part of the ongoing Golden Jubilee celebrations of AIOU. Vice Chancellor, AIOU, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood, has given special instructions to include Islamic events for the promotion of Quran, Hadith, and Sunnah.
