Japanese firm recruited first paid interns batch from Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: A Japanese firm has recruited the first-ever batch of paid interns from Pakistan for engineering training. “The efforts of the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo to explore opportunities for Pakistani youth in Japan continue to bear fruit.For the first time, a Japanese company has accepted six paid interns from Pakistan for engineering training,” the embassy wrote on its Timeline X. She said the host company bears all expenses including the return ticket.When the interns arrived in Tokyo, they were welcomed at the embassy by Pakistani Ambassador Raza Bashir Tarar. He advised the trainees to become role models for Pakistanis in Japan to create future opportunities for their countrymen.
