Islamabad : A high-level Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held at the Islamabad under the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Affairs between the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and the Astana Chamber of Commerce. The event took place on the sidelines of the Pakistan-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission meeting and was attended by Minister for Economic Affairs Mr. Ahad Cheema and Federal Secretary for Commerce Mr. Jawad Paul.
RCCI President Mr. Usman Shaukat signed and exchanged the MoU on behalf of the Chamber with Mr. Kanat Alin, Head of the Astana Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The ceremony was graced by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin, as well as senior representatives from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Government of Kazakhstan. RCCI Vice President Mr. Fahad Barlas also witnessed the occasion.
