Pakistan’s Interim Prime Minister Mourns the Passing of Former Chinese Premier Li Keqiang

Interim Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar expressed profound sadness and shock upon learning of the passing of Li Keqiang, the former Premier of China.

In a social media post, he shared, “Our thoughts and sympathies are with Late Premier Li, his family, and the Chinese nation in this hour of grief. He was a great friend of Pakistan. We fondly remember his visit to Pakistan in 2013.”

He reiterated that the Pakistani nation stands in solidarity with Late Premier Li, his family, and the people of China during this difficult time.

According to China’s Xinhua news agency, former Premier Li Keqiang passed away due to a sudden heart attack in Shanghai early on Friday morning. He was 68 years old. This loss marks a significant moment of mourning for both China and its global friends and allies.
