Syed Jamal Shah, the Federal Minister for Heritage and Culture, recently embarked on a visit to cultural heritage preservation companies in Beijing, aiming to foster cultural cooperation and forge potential partnerships in the restoration of valuable artifacts. The delegation’s visit to the Leshi Cultural Reic Company included a tour of the sites dedicated to cultural artifact preservation and restoration.
Jamal Shah praised the company’s remarkable techniques in cultural preservation and restoration, acknowledging the company’s achievements, as reported by CEN. Both parties recognized the significant value of collaboration, engaging in fruitful discussions to secure support for the preservation and restoration of Pakistan’s cultural artifacts. Additionally, they explored opportunities for research visits and academic exchanges among conservation experts. An agreement was reached to establish a strategic partnership between the relevant institutions of the Pakistani Ministry of Heritage and Culture and the Leshi Cultural Reic Company.
Subsequently, the delegation proceeded to the Haoyu World Company, a prominent 3D technology firm specializing in the preservation of cultural heritage. Li Fei, the head of the company’s cultural heritage division, showcased Haoyu 3D’s accomplishments in digitally preserving and utilizing cultural heritage, with a particular focus on the successful preservation of cave sculptures associated with the Silk Road. Jamal Shah expressed his anticipation for further technological cooperation and exchange, recognizing its potential for cultural advancement and substantial economic benefits for both China and Pakistan.
