Rawalpindi : In compliance with the orders of the Director General Livestock, the Director Livestock Rawalpindi, the Additional Director
Rawalpindi, and the Deputy Director Rawalpindi, a joint operation was conducted.
The Superintendent Slaughterhouse, along with a team from the
Food Authority Rawalpindi, carried out a raid within the jurisdiction of Police Station Waris Khan, specifically targeting the Babra Bazar meat market.
During the raid, illegal slaughtering of useful animals was uncovered. A significant quantity of meat from these animals was confiscated.
Legal action was taken, resulting in the lodging of three FIRs against the culprits and the imposition of heavy fines on two others involved in illegal slaughtering.
