Turkish President to hold talks with Pakistani leadership

Islamabad : President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has arrived in Islamabad on two-day official visit to Pakistan.

Upon his arrival at the Nur Khan Airbase, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif warmly welcomed the distinguished guest.

On the occasion, a 21-gun salute was presented, and schoolchildren dressed in traditional attire extended a warm welcome to the Turkish President. The military band also welcomed him in a traditional manner.

Upon entering Pakistani airspace, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) JF-17 fighter jets provided an aerial salute to President Erdogan, escorting his plane to Islamabad.
