Islamabad : Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja has emphasized the need to align Pakistan’s policies with global standards to unlock satellite technology’s full potential for national growth.
She was chairing a meeting to review the progress on Starlink’s licensing and regulatory frameworks for Low Earth Orbit satellites.
During the meeting, it was decided that hiring of consultant will be completed in a few weeks for regulations.
Discussions focused on expediting these processes to ensure a robust regulatory framework for LEO satellites, enhancing connectivity, and driving technological innovation.
