Right to Self determination campaign starts from Neelum Valley

Neelum Valley: “Right to self-determination campaign” organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir was started from Neelum district.
The participants of the campaign marched in the areas of Kundalshahi, Jora, Barian, Semari and Chilhana nearby Line of Control.

According to the details, a large number of citizens participating in the rally carried banners and placards on which demands of the right of self-determination for the state of Jammu and Kashmir and the sentences against Indian military war crimes in Occupied Kashmir were written.

Speakers on the occasion have said that through this “Right to Self-Determination Campaign” we will ask the United Nations for the implementation of the resolution passed on on January 5 1949 and remaining passed resolutions.

They stated that it is the constitutional responsibility of the Security Council to put pressure on India for a free, fair and impartial solution of the Kashmir issue in the light of the resolutions passed by UNSC.

The speakers said that India is trying to solve the Kashmir issue via military force, while Pakistan as a party is trying to solve it by implementing the resolutions passed by the international organization.

Speakers said that India is either killing Kashmiri citizens who are demanding freedom, justice and rights in Occupied Kashmir or imprisoning them in jails and hanging them. 

They further said that the time has come for the world to find a fair solution to the Kashmir issue for the establishment of lasting peace in South Asia. 

“Due to non-implementation of the resolutions passed by the United Nations Security Council, clouds of fear and terror are hovering in the entire region”, speakers cautioned.

“The escape of the Indian government from a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue, serious violations of human rights in Occupied Kashmir, jailing of freedom fighters and the imperialist actions of August 5, 2019 has already woyrsen the situation in the region”, they added.

Speakers said that if India does not resolve the Kashmir issue by implementing the UN resolutions, then ultimately citizens of Azad Kashmir will march towards the ceasefire line and reach Srinagar. 

“The people of Azad Kashmir will no longer sit silent on Indian oppression, but will be a part of the resistance for the freedom of the oppressed, forced and helpless people of Occupied Kashmir”, speakers stated.

The rally was led by Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Vice Chairman Usman Ali Hashim, District President Sharafat Hussain Malik, Pasban-e-Hurriyat Head of Women Department Mahnaz Qureshi, Teaders Khawaja Shafiq Ahmed, Abdul Rasheed Awanz, Raja Iftikhar Ahmad Khan, Raja Owais Ahmad Khan, Advocate Kashif Iftikhar Malik, Abdul Hai, Extra Assistant Commissioner Basharat Chaudhry and others.
