Pakistan Takes Bold Step Towards Economic Transformation with Launch of 7th Agricultural Census

With the successful launch of Uraan Pakistan under the 5Es framework, aimed at transforming Pakistan into a thriving $3 trillion economy by 2047, the government is now focusing on another critical milestone: The 7th Agricultural Census.

Agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan’s economy, contributing significantly to GDP, exports, and employment. Comprehensive Scope: For the first time, all agricultural-related censuses (machinery, livestock, and crops) have been merged into a single comprehensive census to ensure accurate and actionable data.

Modernized Approach: The census, set to begin in January 2024, will utilize advanced technology and a centralized dashboard to streamline data collection and analysis, enabling targeted interventions and effective resource allocation.
