Islamabad : Prime Minister’s University Sports Olympiad officially kicked off at the Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Board.
Athletes and sports enthusiasts from across the country, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, are participating in the event with great passion and enthusiasm.
Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan has said the talent emerging from the University Sports Olympiad will be nurtured and provided with the necessary training to earn laurels for the country at the international level.
Talking to the media persons in Islamabad today, he said that three thousand athletes are present in the federal capital to participate in the Sports Olympiad. He emphasized that these athletes are the future champions, sending a message of excellence in all fields, whether in education or sports. He said these youth are also giving the message that all conspiracies against the country will be foiled.
