The GB Investment Road Show 2023 has concluded in Islamabad, highlighting the scenic beauty and numerous investment prospects in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB). The event featured esteemed dignitaries, ambassadors, members of the Federal Cabinet, representatives from the Special Investment Facilitation Cell, the Governor, Chief Minister of GB, and participants from various sectors like tourism, IT, power, agriculture, mining, and food security.
Keynote speeches were delivered by Caretaker Minister Fawad Hassan Fawad, Governor Gilgit Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah, Chief Minister Haji Dilbar Khan, and other prominent speakers.
This event provided a platform for the GB government to exhibit the attractive incentives available to potential investors in these sectors. GB, often referred to as the “Land of Opportunities,” made a compelling case for investment, emphasizing its strategic geographical location, rich natural resources, and rapidly advancing infrastructure.

In a statement, Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan Muhiyyudin Wani conveyed that this event marked the beginning of a promising journey. He affirmed the GB government’s commitment to maintaining this momentum, with plans to establish the “GB Invest” theme as an annual event, ensuring continuous follow-up on the initiatives and simplifying the process for prospective investors.
He further stated that GB is continually unlocking its potential and entering a new era of growth, inviting the business community to explore the limitless opportunities this region offers.
