To close the gap between the cost of production and the output price, efforts are being made to pay farmers the best price for their crop.
This information was provided by the Federal Committee on Agriculture for the Rabi Season during a meeting in Islamabad that was presided over by Minister for National Food Security Kauser Abdulla Malik.
The Committee examined the results of the Kharif Crops and the Rabi Crops Production Plan. A production goal for the Rabi crop was also established.
