
The Election Commission of Pakistan has pledged to make necessary revisions to the draft code of conduct for the upcoming elections in response to the concerns raised by political parties. This assurance came during a meeting chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja in Islamabad, which was attended by representatives from various political parties.
The purpose of the meeting was to actively involve political parties in discussions about the code of conduct for the forthcoming general elections. The Election Commission took input from these parties regarding the initial draft of the code of conduct and welcomed their suggestions to enhance and refine it. This collaborative effort aims to ensure a more transparent, fair, and credible electoral process.
