Gaza : The far-right Israeli government is racing against time to strike at the foundations and components of the independent Palestinian state and create more obstacles by preventing its embodiment on the ground, and to thwart the international consensus on the Palestinian people’s right to their independent state, whether by deepening the war of extermination and displacement against our people and emptying the land of its original owners, or through the escalation in the crimes of settlement and settlers, as is clearly evident against olive pickers throughout the occupied West Bank, in an attempt to complete the crime of ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian presence in all areas classified as (C) to allocate them as strategic depth for settlement and random outposts, as happened recently east of Hebron, as well as Netanyahu’s open war that aims to fragment the unity and legitimacy of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s representation of the Palestinian people in light of the ongoing Israeli rebellion against international legitimacy and its decisions and the refusal to stop the war of extermination and displacement and to devote colonial military solutions as an alternative to the signed agreements, understandings and political solutions to the conflict.
The Ministry stresses that the ruling Israeli right has not left any gaps or borders between the armed settler militias and the occupation army, in a clear expression of the Israeli government’s adoption of extremist settlement associations and providing them with all forms of support, protection and backing in their pursuit and persecution of Palestinian citizens, their land, property and holy sites, on the path to completing the silent gradual annexation of the occupied West Bank and building the so-called (Temple Mount).
Israel’s continued rejection of international demands, decisions and appeals calls for an unconventional international position that forces the occupying state to stop its brutal aggression against our people, stop settlements, dismantle the settler militias, lift protection from them and begin implementing the UN General Assembly resolution that adopted the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice within 12 months. The Ministry also believes that the bets of the international community and a number of countries on the positions of the Israeli government are considered an escape from bearing responsibility and only lead to deepening the conflict and the cycle of violence.
