Islamabad : Royal Thai Embassy in Islamabad in collaboration with The Centaurus Mall is hosting the Thailand Sawasdee Festival 2024, a two-day cultural celebration at The Centaurus Mall.
The Sawasdee Festival showcases various elements of Thai heritage and traditions. The event features numerous aspects of Thailand’s vibrant culture, including elegant dances, stunning traditional costumes, fashion shows, Thai music, unique instruments, captivating Muay Thai (Thailand’s famous martial art) and of course an array of delicious Thai cuisine.
The festival was inaugurated by Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan (CEO the Centaurus Group, President IDA) and Ms. Kamolwan Sriposil (Chargé d’Affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy) as the chief guest, alongside other distinguished guests of honors such as H.E. Col (Rtd) Pg Kamal Bashah (High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam), H.E. Mr. Pham Anh Tuan (Ambassador of Vietnam), H.E. Mr. Wunna Han (Ambassador of Myanmar) and H.E. Mr. Rahmat Hindiarta Kusuma (Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Indonesia).
Ms. Kamolwan Sriposil expressed her gratitude to The Centaurus for its support, while Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan congratulated the Royal Thai Embassy for conducting a successful and grand Sawasdee Festival. He said that Thailand has a unique culture and was impressed by the performances done at the Sawasdee Festival.
