Lahore : The Balloting process of Apni Chhat…Apna Ghar Programme in all districts was undertaken. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif formally launched Apni Chhat…Apna Ghar Programme by undertaking the balloting process. The Chief Minister pressed a button to undertake the balloting process in the presence of Provincial Ministers, Assembly Members, ticket holders and local dignitaries. 185 applicants were declared successful in the balloting process for Apni Chhat…Apna Ghar Programme in DG Khan. Abdul Latif was declared the first citizen in the balloting process while Muhammad Azam was declared second, Madiha Qadir was declared third and Abdul Sattar become the fourth fortunate citizen for being declared successful in the balloting process in DG Khan. 1778 persons applied in the Apni Chhat…Apna Ghar Programme in DG Khan. The first installment of loans will be given to the successful persons by 15th September.
CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated the successful persons in the Apni Chhat…Apna Ghar Programme. The Chief Minister said, “Apni Chhat…Apna Ghar Programme will prove to be one of the biggest programmes in the history of Pakistan. We want to attain the target to allot houses to one lakh persons every year. There is no element of favour in the Apni Chhat…Apna Ghar Programme and everyone will be provided a loan on merit. The monthly instalment of loan will not exceed the amount of rent. A person getting a loan worth Rs.15 lakh will have to pay Rs.14000/ as a monthly instalment. The actual amount will have to be paid in seven years. The plot owners of 5 marlas in the uran areas and 10 marlas in the rural areas can obtain a loan.
Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Provincial Minister for Information & Culture Azma Zahid Bokhari, Provincial Ministers Sher Ali Gorchani, Rana Sikandar Hayat, Special Assistant Zeeshan Malik, Assembly Members, Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, ACS(South), Additional IG Police (South) Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and other relevant officers were also present on the occasion.
