The President is advocating for the expansion of the bilateral trade volume with Bahrain

President Dr. Arif Alvi underscored the importance of expanding bilateral trade volume between Pakistan and Bahrain, as well as exporting a significant number of skilled laborers to the country. During a meeting with Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to Bahrain, Saqib Rauf, at the Governor House, President Alvi discussed the potential for economic collaboration and workforce export.

The President highlighted the growing global demand for skilled labor, particularly in fields related to information technology and artificial intelligence. He emphasized the need for the ambassador-designate to concentrate on tapping into this market demand by exporting the required skilled workforce from Pakistan.

President Alvi expressed Pakistan’s strong commitment to its brotherly relations with Bahrain. He stressed the importance of strengthening economic, educational, and cultural ties between the two countries. The President also called for Pakistan’s embassies abroad to play an active role in facilitating the export of skilled labor from Pakistan and increasing foreign remittances for the country.

These discussions reflect Pakistan’s determination to enhance economic cooperation with Bahrain and harness the potential of its skilled workforce to contribute to the international labor market.
