NDMA Facilitated Carriage Home of
Pak National Zaireens Perished in Iran
Islamabad : As per Prime Minister’s directives, NDMA coordinated with Pakistan Air Force and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate repatriation of injured and deceased Pakistani Zaireens from Iran via special C-130 aircraft flight. The plane landed in Jacobabad at midnight 23/24 August 2024. District Administration arranged transportation of coffins to the respective home towns.
The aircraft carried 28 coffins, 16 injured individuals and 3 accompanying staff members of MoFA.
NDMA expresses solidarity with the bereaved families and remains committed to responding to any emergency situation.
