Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that the main goal of his state visit to Tajikistan is to achieve the common goal of bringing Kazakh-Tajik relations of friendship and mutual support to a qualitatively new level.
The Head of state noted with satisfaction the successful development of Kazakh-Tajik cooperation in all key areas.
President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon emphasized that the signing of the Treaty on Allied Relations will qualitatively strengthen interstate cooperation for the long term.
During the meeting, priorities and tasks for further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial, water-energy, transport and transit sectors were identified. The parties agreed to concentrate efforts on launching joint projects, as well as create favorable conditions for doing business.
Possibilities for expanding mutually beneficial partnerships in the areas of digitalization, education and the use of space technologies were also considered.
