In Operation Against Illegal ncroachments, Sheds, Godowns, Sand and Gravel Piles were Demolished.
RAWALPINDI : According to the spokesperson of RDA, on the instructions of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Engineer Muhammad Abdul Amir Khattak and Director General Rawalpindi Development Authority, Kinza Murtaza, RDA staff have taken strict action against the encroachments on the banks of the Nullah Lai in Dhok Najju, Khayaban e Sir Syed, Rata Amaral and Ganjmundi Rawalpindi.
The encroachments have been demolished while conducting the operation which supervised by Director Land RDA Malik Ghasinfar Ali Awan, Assistant Commissioner City Rawalpindi Hakim Khan and the police team from relevant police stations were also present on the occasion.
In operation all illegal encroachments in these areas, sheds, godowns, sand and gravel piles have been demolished.
The DG RDA, Kinza Murtaza has directed that no construction and dumping of debris is allowed on the banks of Nullah Lai.
She said that strict action will be taken against those who violate the law. She has instructed to continue the strict action without fear or favour.
