Chairman PMYP Meets with ADB to Discuss Youth Skills Development Collaboration

Islamabad :  Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, held a meeting with representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to explore potential areas of collaboration focused on enhancing the skills of Pakistan’s youth.

The meeting underscored the mutual commitment to fostering youth empowerment and skills development, pivotal for Pakistan’s sustainable economic growth and development. Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan expressed his gratitude towards the ADB for its continued support and interest in partnering with the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme.

During the discussion, several key areas of collaboration were highlighted, including:

Vocational and Technical Training: Developing comprehensive vocational training programs to equip youth with industry-relevant skills.
Digital Skills: Promoting digital literacy and advanced IT training to prepare young individuals for the demands of the modern workforce.
Entrepreneurship: Supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and providing the necessary resources and training for young entrepreneurs to thrive.
Education and Capacity Building: Enhancing educational infrastructure and capacity-building efforts to ensure quality education and training opportunities for all.
Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan emphasized the importance of these initiatives in creating a robust and dynamic workforce capable of driving innovation and economic prosperity in Pakistan. He stated, “Our youth are our greatest asset, and by investing in their skills and education, we are investing in the future of our nation.
