Lahore : The aim of PCB’s offer is to ensure that the Bangladesh team can practice and train in a safe environment ahead of the first Test match, which is scheduled to be played on August 21 in Rawalpindi.
According to sources, the PCB highlighted the stable law and order situation in Pakistan and assured the BCB that their team will have the freedom to train and practice without any security concerns. Despite PCB’s assurance and proactive approach, BCB is yet to respond to the offer.
The first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh is a significant part of the cricket calendar and the PCB is keen to provide the visiting team with the best possible preparation environment.
By offering early arrival and training, PCB hopes to facilitate a smooth and safe series.
