A wide range of complaints were addressed during the 47th e-Kacheri

Karachi :-  The 47th e-Kacheri, led by Additional DG CAA (AVM) Taimur Iqbal, was held at the PCAA Headquarters. Deputy DG Airports Sadiq Ur Rehman, Deputy DG Works and Development Sumair Saeed, Directors from various departments, and representatives from PEL, IT, and Vigilance were also present at the meeting.

A wide range of complaints were addressed during the e-Kacheri. These included issues such as ticket refund requests, delay in receiving mark sheet following the exam, requests for a CPL exam center in Lahore, concerns about the design of airports, infrastructure issues at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, and reports of bribery.

The Additional DG issued on-the-spot instructions wherever necessary and assured that all complaints would be followed up and addressed promptly. Regarding the construction of a domestic/international airport in Mirpur, AK, it was explained that such a project requires significant planning and suitable land availability before construction can begin. Plans to upgrade existing airports in Muzafarabad and Rawalakot were also mentioned to improve air travel services for the public.

Question about PIA’s flight between Karachi and Peshawar was clarified, stating that flight operations by airlines depend on financial viability of the route. Fly Jinnah currently offers regular flights on this route, it was informed. Various other grievances were raised, including sanitation issues at Faisalabad International Airport, inadequate facilities at Jinnah International Airport, and reports of unprofessional behavior at Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar.

The Additional DG CAA thanked participants for their feedback, acknowledging the importance of their input in improving processes and implementing necessary corrective measures.
