Punjab Chief Minister outlines measures to protect women and children.

Lahore  : Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz says all possible measures are being taken for protection of women and children.

She said this during meeting with British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott. They also agreed to enhance collaboration in education, health and other sectors. Discussion on promotion of mutual cooperation in the meeting, Agreement to increase cooperation in education, health and other sectors.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz informed about the establishment of first Women Virtual Police Station and Child Safety Virtual Center in Punjab.  Taking all possible measures for the protection of women and children. Maryam Nawaz Sharif  Solarization project will be started in Punjab from August 14, People are providing solar panels for economic relief, British companies will be welcomed in the solar panel project.

Transparency and implementation of merit will be ensured in the bidding of solar panel project. All possible measures are being taken to eliminate environmental pollution in Punjab. Trying to make Punjab the biggest digital hub of South Asia.

British High Commissioner Jean Marie-Ette appreciated the implementation of Sikh Marriage Act in Punjab. British High Commissioner Jean Marie-Ette termed the Child Marriage Bill as an exemplary initiative. The government’s initiatives regarding the protection of minorities in Punjab are commendable British High Commissioner Jean-Marie et al.
