Islamabad : On the instructions of Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Health, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Bhart, all four federal hospitals have been placed on high alert to ensure the provision of preventive medical facilities during Ashura.
Dr. Bharath has directed the hospitals to implement special preventive measures in advance of Ashura. This includes ensuring the availability of all necessary medicines in emergency departments.
Hospital heads have been instructed to ensure all essential arrangements are in place. This includes maintaining vacant beds in a ready state to handle any emergencies that may arise.
Doctors and paramedical staff will remain vigilant to provide the best possible medical facilities. Special emphasis is being placed on the readiness and availability of medical teams.
Dr. Bharath emphasized the importance of maintaining adequate stocks of blood from various groups to meet any urgent needs.
