Islamabad – The Environmental Monitoring Team of Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency “Pak-EPA” conducted a sampling and monitoring exercise to assess the air and surface water quality at residential and industrial zone.
A high-volume air sampler was installed in the residential area of Margalla Town Phase 2 to monitor air quality.
The team collected surface water samples from three key locations i.e. Rawal Dam outlet and Nallahs at I-9.
These efforts aim to ensure the protection of public health, environment and to identify potential sources of pollution. The collected samples will be analyzed for various parameters, including physical, chemical, and biological characteristics.
Pak-EPA is committed to regular environment monitoring and taking swift action against any violations or threats to environment.
