A crackdown on criminals and gang members has been ordered across the province by interim Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi.
While presiding over a conference in Lahore, he said that nobody was permitted to sow chaos or sabotage the calm in the province. No compassion will be shown to terrorists and criminals, he declared.
The martyrs who prevented the terrorist attack on the Kundal checkpoint in Mianwali were also honored by Mohsin Naqvi.
The group was informed by the Inspector General Police on the state of the province’s law and order.
