Melbourne : Pakistani cadet Afaq Mashwani brings new laurels to the nation from the Royal Military College of Australia.
Proving his mettle in training, the cadet secures the Maj Gen Finley Award-2024 upon successful completion of military training.
This award is granted to the overall best cadet in the military. This is the first time that a Pakistani cadet has achieved this award.
It speaks volumes of the hard work and dedication of the cadet, as well as his alma mater, PMA, which groomed him so well in the early months of his training.
He hails from the 147 PMA Long Course. He belongs to the Upper Dir, KPK province in Pakistan.
His father is a retired judge, his mother is a housewife.
The nation is proud of its distinguished son.
