Peshawar : After three years again, the forest covering 400 kanals located in village Wali Dad Post Office Lasan Nawab Sahib Tehsil and District Mansehra, Union Council Lasan Nawab was set on fire by unknown persons. On the silence of the local police station and the forest department, the owner of the forest, Aurangzeb Tanoli, appealed to the high officials including the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take action and said that justice should be done to me.
As assistant personnel officer (retired) from Federal Department of Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi Division and Secretary General of All Pakistan Railways Pensioners Association, Aurangzeb Tanoli told the journalists that My native village is Wali Dad Post Office Lasan Nawab Sahib Tehsil and District Mansehra, Union Council Lasan Nawab.Lasan is located 3 km from Nawab Sahib on Dhunka Road, where my area covers 400 kanals of different types of trees.On 18 June 2024, early morning on Tuesday, unknown persons set fire to it.The fire continued from Fajr prayer to 3 pm, which destroyed the entire forest.3 years ago, unknown persons had set fire in the same way.Even at that time I had submitted requests to Prime Minister Portal Cell and other concerned authorities but didn’t take any notice.If legal action had been taken at that time, this incident would not have happened again today.He said that The flames were so high that they could be seen from several miles away but no action was taken from the nearest police station and I suffered a loss of lacs of rupees after every 3 to 4 years.
He said that i am living in Rawalpindi instead of village Wali Dad, they are benefiting from this. I request to take immediate notice of this incident.An FIR should be registered against the unknown accused in Lasan Nawab Sahib Tehsil and District Mansehra.The unknown suspects should be traced and punished by the Lasan Nawab Sahib police.Because along with the trees, thousands of speechless birds and other animals die in the fire.My Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar, Inspector General Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar, Chief Conservative, Forest Department Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar, Commissioner Hazara Division Abbottabad, DIG Hazara Division Abbottabad, DPO District Mansehra, DPO A strong appeal is made to FO Grover Forest Division Mansehra to conduct a full investigation into this incident,and immediate justice should be provided to me.
