Assistant Commissioner Sukkur Cracks Down on Illegal Medicines, Seals Medical Stores

Sukkur :-  Assistant Commissioner Sukkur City, Sobia Falak Rao, and Drug Inspector Shafaq Chachar conducted a joint raid on medical stores on Queens Road, resulting in the seizure of expired and unregistered Indian medicines. Heavy fines were imposed, and several stores were sealed.

During the operation, the team inspected medicines at various stores, imposing fines on owners found to be selling expired and unregistered medicines, some of which were two to three years old. Several stores were sealed, and owners were warned to maintain proper temperature controls to avoid action.

The Assistant Commissioner and Drug Inspector emphasized that non-standard, expired, and unregistered medicines will not be tolerated, and medical store owners must abide by the law, or face strict action and shop closures. The crackdown aims to protect public health and ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulations.
