To irrigate parched territory, the Pakistani Army begins an experimental project in South Waziristan

In order to irrigate the parched soil, the Pakistani Army has started a pilot project in the Zarmalan region of South Waziristan.
In this regard, a total of 1,000 acres of land will be irrigated in the project’s first phase, and the remaining 44,000 acres of land will be covered in the same project after that.
The initiative, which is being carried out under the direction of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, will enhance the financial situation of nearby farmers and contribute to a decrease in food scarcity.
