Islamabad, Today, as we celebrate the 26th anniversary of Youm e Takbeer, we honor a pivotal moment in our nation’s history. On 28th May 1998, under the courageous leadership of Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan conducted its nuclear tests, affirming our sovereignty and securing our defense.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s unwavering resolve in the face of immense international pressure showcased his remarkable bravery and leadership. His steadfast decision ensured the safety and balance of power in our region, making Pakistan a formidable nuclear power.
We also pay tribute to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, whose visionary leadership laid the foundation of Pakistan’s nuclear program. His foresight and determination set the course for our nation’s defense capabilities and sovereignty.
