Islamabad : A Qatari delegation, led by Abdulaziz Hamad A.H Al-Thani ( Member ruling family of Qatar) visited the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) and was warmly received by the Director General of PNCA, accompanied by PNCA officers. During their visit, the delegation toured the galleries, showcasing Pakistani artists’ impressive calligraphy and paintings, and expressed their admiration. The two sides engaged in fruitful discussions on shared interests and potential collaborations in the fields of arts and culture between Pakistan and Qatar. The Director General of PNCA extended their gratitude to the delegation and presented an overview of the council’s initiatives and accomplishments.
Head of delegation, during a joint sitting, introduced Qatar’s museums Vision of expansion and international collaborations. He desired for a Pakistani presentation in the field of calligraphy for an upcoming event in Qatar.
The visit culminated in a musical program specially arranged for the esteemed guests, further enriching the cultural exchange.
The DG PNCA presented souvenirs to the delegation also. After having lunch at PNCA, the delegation left for the taxila museum and visited Dharmarajika stupa monastery.
