The event, which includes activities such as “Georgievskaya Ribbon” and “Immortal Regiment,” pays tribute to the bravery of ancestors who defended the freedom of the Soviet Union amid unimaginable sacrifices.
Addressing the participants, they noted the rise of fascism and the need to preserve the heritage of the past. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov emphasized the contemporary relevance of the lessons of history and warned against outside forces seeking to undermine Russia’s sovereignty.
