DG RDA directs to provide relief to the general public seeking approval of residential, commercial buildings’ maps
RAWALPINDI : The Director General (DG) Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Kinza Murtaza has directed all employees of RDA to work honestly and diligently to redress the grievances of the general public.
The spokesperson of RDA said that a meeting was held to review the progress of various issues of RDA which was chaired by the DG RDA Kinza Murtaza.
He said the DG RDA has directed the MP&TE Directorate RDA to provide relief to the general public regarding construction of residential and commercial buildings. She has directed to take strict action against illegal and unauthorized constructions, encroachments and commercial activities without any fear and favour.
He said the DG RDA has directed the Estate Management (EM) Directorate RDA to work expeditiously for the transfer of public properties in the area which are under RDA. She also directed to work indiscriminately for strict action against encroachments.
He said emphasizing the importance of speedy and quality work, the DG RDA has directed the execution of the ongoing works on a speedy basis and directed the RDA Engineering Directorate to work hard. She said, “When there is no obstacle in the process of task implementation then it should not be delayed.”
He further reiterated that the Authority should substantially increase the working hours to ease the hardships of the common people.
He said the DG RDA has given special task to the concerned officers to control the traffic problems. She instructed to take steps to eliminate plastic bags in housing schemes which have been approved by RDA.
Additional Director General RDA Awais Manzoor Tarar, Chief Engineer RDA Muhammad Anwar Baran, Director Admin and Finance Asif Mehmood Janjua, Director Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering Jamshaid Aftab, Director Architecture Shuja Ali, Director Land Development Malik Ghazanfar Ali Awan, Director Estate Management Shahzad Gondal, Director Engineer Muhammad Kamran, Deputy Director Finance Muhammad Junaid Taj Bhatti and other officers of RDA attended the meeting.
