Senior Punjab Police officer Rifat Bukhari has been chosen by the International Association of Women Police to receive the Excellence in Performance Award, making her a role model for Pakistani women.
According to a press release, Rifat Bukhari’s nomination for this esteemed award underscores her outstanding contributions to her community. She is presently employed with the Punjab Safe Cities Authority. Every year, a female police officer from all around the world receives this award in honor of her exceptional achievements to her field.
Rifat Bukhari received recognition for her outstanding contributions to a number of fields, such as the development of intelligent traffic management systems, the application of road safety regulations, the protection of women, and the use of artificial intelligence in the capture of criminals.
SSP Rifat Bukhari received a special letter from Debra Friedel, President of the International Association of Women Police, congratulating her on being chosen for this international accolade. Debra Friedel stated, “Your selection is a recognition of your service on a global scale.”
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that all police officers, especially women officers, should be proud of SSP Rifat Bukhari’s outstanding accomplishment.
At the 61st Annual Conference of the International Association of Women Police in Chicago, USA, in September of this year, Rifat Bukhari will receive the prize.
