Today is International Day of Intellectual Property.
“IP and SDGs: Building Our Common Future with Innovation and Creativity” is this year’s Day theme.
Farukh Amil, the chairman of the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan, stressed the importance of intellectual property in promoting innovation and creativity during a news conference in Islamabad to provide details about the events planned for the Day.
Director General of IPO Pakistan Shazia Adnan stated in her speech that the organization also intends to start a number of workshops and events pertaining to intellectual property and sustainable development throughout the year.
